Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our international team of developers to deliver an reward redemption app to our clients
- Participate in requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and enhancement of the embedded and mobile apps
- Take on the initiative to drive quality and maintain application stability
- Actively contribute to the technical decision making on the assigned scope of work to assist in achieving goals and objectives in time and with quality
- Show a positive and collaborative spirit, working professionally with team members
- Apply application development standards and use tools defined by the company
- Demonstrated ability to meet or beat assigned targets and deadlines under normal circumstances, and ability to make trade-offs and when needed to optimize outcome when conditions change
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned by your management
Qualification:
- Bachelor in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent education
- Expert knowledge in Android SDK and Java & JDK ( > 5 years)
- Advanced Android UI Skills (Fragments, Custom view components), Writing multi-threaded & networked apps, Debugging using ADB
- Competent in the following: REST APIs, Web Services (both consuming and producing), JavaScript, HTML5/CSS, OOP, SVN, GIT
- Software product development experience leveraging Agile/Scrum methodology and practices is preferred
- Understanding of software development cycles, test methodologies, debugging strategies and risk management is mandatory
- Experience developing for other mobile platforms (iOS, Windows Phone, etc.) is a plus
- Experience in cross-platform development (React Native, Xamarin) is a plus
